Surprise Box is an unlockable active item in Epiphany, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

General information Starts with no charges when acquired and cannot be charged via regular means.

Holding down the drop button while approaching a pickup will consume it and grant 1 active charge - the pickup is not added to Isaac's inventory.

Only works with the following pickups: coins, keys, hearts, bombs, pills, cards, batteries, poop nuggets.

Certain pickup variants will grant more than 1 charge.

Consuming a golden pickup such as a Golden Penny will result in the final output being a golden item.

The item can be overcharged by consuming additional pickups when it's fully charged. Reaching 24 charges, however, will cause a giant explosion and destroy the item.

The explosion deals a full heart of damage to Isaac, 100 damage to enemies, and can destroy obstacles.

On useSpawns a random number of the pickups that were consumed the most. The number of pickups scales with the total number of pickups consumed, as well as their value (some pickups have greater value than others).

Spawned pickups can be of any variant. For example, collecting only Hearts may yield Soul Hearts or other types of hearts.

An item is also spawned depending on the pickup that was consumed the most:

Golden variant The resulting item will be golden.

Defeat The Beast as Tarnished Cain.
