Stats won't be affected by most effects.
Open a special console when using Defined in the starting room.
The console includes:
1.Stats Area: Costs points to change stats.
2.Items Area: Transforms items into points.
3.Skills Area: Costs points to learn powerful skills.

How to unlock?
Play as Eden / Tainted Eden, stay in the starting room at the start of a run for about 2 minutes.
