While in an active room, apples will start spawning around the floor every 5 seconds.

Only one apple can be present at a time.

Picking up an apple will immediately spawn a giant snake, which will target the enemy with the most health in the room; the snake does not damage Isaac and deals armor-piercing damage to enemies.

Apples on the floor will grow over time, taking 8.3 seconds to upgrade to level 2 and another 16.7 seconds for level 3. The higher the level when picked up, the stronger the snake will be.

Apples can only exist in a room with enemies and will disappear if the room is cleared.
Costs 2 Heart Containers when found in a Devil Deal, or 30¢ in an Angel Shop.
