Spawns a cat familiar that wanders around the room and blocks enemy projectiles. It will constantly attempt to move away from Isaac.

The familiar has 13 HP - after receiving enough damage from enemy projectiles it will go to sleep until the next floor. It is immune to contact damage.

Its HP is restored upon entering a new floor.

increases fire rate that scales with Isaac's distance from the familiar and the number of enemies around it:
• +0.12 per 4 tiles of distance
• +0.24 per enemy in close proximity
• +0.66 when the familiar is asleep

There is no upper boundary to the amount of fire rate increase that can be granted.

There is a 0.66% chance for the familiar to spawn with a different appearance.
This item contributes towards the Guppy transformation. Collecting 3 items from this set will grant Isaac flight and spawn a Blue Fly 66% of the time when a tear hits an enemy.
