Isaac shoots piercing daggers alongside his regular tears.

Causes enemies to drop gems upon death that can be collected by walking over them. Daggers get more powerful as more gems are collected.

Gems disappear after 3 seconds if not picked up.

Gems are slightly attracted to Isaac.

Bosses drop 5 gems on death.

The number of collected gems, and the power of the daggers, is reset upon entering a new floor.

Dagger levels
• Level 1 (0-14 gems): daggers are inaccurate, deal 3 damage, and have a cooldown of 1 second between each dagger.

• Level 2 (15-34 gems): daggers receive +20% fire rate, +16.67% shot speed, +40% accuracy, and + 33.33% range.

• Level 3 (35-59 gems): daggers deal 3.5 damage and have a chance to set enemies on fire, dealing 2 damage per tick for a duration of 1 second. Further increases their stats: +25% fire rate, +7.14% shot speed, +33.33% accuracy, and +25% range.

• Level 4 (60+ gems): burn duration is increased to 2 seconds, and enemies create a fire upon death if still burning, that lasts for 1 second and deals damage to enemies. Further increases their stats: +33.33% fire rate, +6.67% shot speed, +50% accuracy, and +20% range.
