Starting items
Inherits the starting items of the character that Tainted Hourai possesses.

Description
Tainted Hourai is a special character that cannot be directly selected from the main menu. To play as Tainted Hourai, the game needs to first be entered with a different character, and the dichromatic butterfly in the starting room must be killed.

The butterfly will spawn a Hourai doll upon death. However, killing the doll will transform it into the Tainted Hourai doll. Touching the doll will make Tainted Hourai possess the current character and corrupt them into Tainted Hourai permanently. Touching the doll again will restore the original character.

Killing an enemy with one of the 8 following kill conditions completes the corresponding killing mark:
• Other enemy
• Explosion/Crush damage
• Poison
• Creep
• Fire
• Laser
• Ice
• Familiar

At the start of the next floor, spawns rewards based on the number of completed kill conditions on the previous floor:
• 1: 3 random pickups
• 2: 5 random cards
• 3: 8 random chests
• 4: An item from the Treasure Room item pool.
• 5: 4th mark's rewards + An item from Shop item pool.
• 6: 5th mark's rewards + An item from Planetarium item pool.
• 7: 6th mark's rewards + An item from Devil Room item pool.
• 8: 7th mark's rewards + 4 items from Boss, Curse Room, Angel Room and Secret Room item pool.
