On use, Isaac holds the Boomerang in his hand. Pressing a fire button will throw the Boomerang in the chosen direction, and will return it shortly afterward.

The Boomerang can collect pickups along the way and return them to Isaac.

Enemies hit by it will take 2x Isaac's damage and get petrified for ~2 seconds.

The Boomerang will pierce through enemies and obstacles (except key blocks), and can destroy Shopkeepers.
Costs 10¢ when found in a Shop.
