The bonus can stack up to 5 times, giving a total of +2 fire rate. This is represented by the flame burning at its brightest.

The bonus resets immediately upon taking damage, unless damage is taken from self-sacrifice mechanics, such as Curse Rooms, Blood Donation Machines, etc.
Costs 2 Heart Containers when found in a Devil Deal, or 30¢ in an Angel Shop.
