Taking damage or donating health makes a red heart launch out of Isaac that disappears after 1.5 seconds.

The heart depends on the amount of health spent: half heart spent will produce half a heart, while a full heart will produce a full heart.

Damage sources that scale up from half a heart to a full heart, starting from Chapter 4, will still only produce half a heart.

No hearts are spawned when spending heart containers in Devil Deals.
Unlock: Defeat Delirium as Tainted Magdalene.
