Upon entering an uncleared room, a rhythm minigame is initiated. Shooting at the exact moment when the 2 blue bars are in the middle will yield rewards.

The bar can contain 4-16 notes based on a random chance:
• 52.63% - 4 beats
• 26.32% - 6 beats
• 13.16% - 8 beats
• 5.26% - 12 beats
• 2.63% - 16 beats

When inside a Boss Room, the bar will always have 16 notes.

The beat is chosen at random each room, having different sound and timing. Some beats have different timings in-between.

Each beat hit properly deals damage to enemies equal to Isaac's DPS (damage per second, calculated as (DamageStat + 30) / (MaxFireDelay + 1)), multiplied by the amount of beats hit in a row.

Hitting all beats properly will result in a stat boost for the current room. 1-5 stats are randomly boosted based on the number of beats in the room (4 beats = 1 stat boost, 6 beats = 2 stat boosts, etc). Multiple of the same stat can be boosted at once.
+0.1 speed.
-10% max fire delay.
+0.1 damage.
+1.25 range.
+0.1 shot speed.

If the room had 8 or more beats and all were hit properly, the effects of The Necronomicon will be activated.
