Dealing damage to enemies causes Isaac to build up rage. This is indicated by his skin turning red. Reaching maximum rage will put him in "rage mode", reducing his fire delay by 50%, and lasts for 13 seconds.

While in rage mode, Isaac's invincibility frames are greatly reduced, meaning multiple hits can be taken in a very short amount of time.

Rage mode activates upon hitting enemies with a total of 50 tears.

Can only be obtained via Black Lantern.
