A room with spikes on the door that hurt Isaac for half a heart (or a full heart starting from the Womb) when touching or going through it.

The Curse Room typically contains Red Chests, enemy spiders/Imps, Black Hearts, Devil Beggars, and often an item from the Curse Room item pool.

The damage from the Curse Room does not affect the Devil/Angel chance.

Curse Rooms may appear up to Chapter 5. Only one may appear per floor.

In Greed Mode, a Curse Room always appears adjacent to the main room and the Shop, and it instead uses the Greed Curse Room item pool.

If Isaac has flight, he will only take damage from the spikes upon exiting the room.
