A room that is not visible on the map and does not have a regular door through which it can be accessed.

The Secret Room is only accessible via bombing the center of a wall that leads to it, creating a hole in the wall.

Only one Secret Room may spawn on a floor. One does not spawn in the Blue Womb and The Home floors.

Secret Rooms are typically found next to 3 or 4 adjacent rooms, and their entrance will never have an enemy spawn, rock, gap, or other grid entity in the way.

Contains at least one Shopkeeper and various pickups, or even an item.

Starting from Chapter 3, the Secret Room has a chance of featuring a fight against Greed or Super Greed, unless both mini-bosses have been defeated during the run.

A Secret Room does not appear in Greed Mode.

Once Delirium is defeated as Tainted Eden, items spawned in the I AM ERROR room have a 1.67% chance of spawning affected by TMTRAINER.

During the Ascent, no Secret Rooms may be generated.
